This year's Camporee did not go as planned Bill, Todd, Matt, Tyler, and Tristan all left for Camp Northern Lights in Ontario, Canada on August 5. They arrived at 4:00 after a tiring 10 hour trip. Set up camp under a large canvas for what would be a long stormy night.

It rained most of the time we were there fun events were cancelled, trails were knee high in mud, but still we found ways of having fun. We talked together, helped each other on projects around camp and even went sliding through the mud. But we had to leave early. It was raining about 20 hours a day! Unfortunately normal vehicles couldn't make it through the mud so we walked our luggage through the mud to certain areas where it was picked up by a giant steel tracked bobcat. We were evacuated by a bus and headed to our shelter, a hockey arena. When we arrived we went through a wash line then set up our sleeping bags. it was a tight squeeze but our first night we were warm that week. The next evening we left and arrived back home early August 11.
